Breakfast Club
Our breakfast club is open every morning in the school hall. This popular facility opens at 8:15am during term time. Last entry to breakfast club is 8:30am to allow children time for breakfast before the school day starts.
All children from nursery to year 6 are welcome to attend. They are served a choice of cereals, toast, fruit and a drink.
After-school clubs and lunchtime clubs
Here at Rhydyfro Primary, we offer a range of after school clubs for our pupils. Our clubs include:
- Football
- Netball
- Outdoor Club
- ICT
- Multi-Sports
- Cooking
- Bingo
- Creative
- Choir (Lunchtime)
We do not charge for any after-school clubs that are run by staff members. However, external providers' clubs do have a small charge due to it being run by a third party.

Peripatetic music tuition
Learning to play an instrument is an important skill, which is why we'd like to offer brass, string and percussion lessons to our junior pupils.
We've found that peripatetic music tuition gives pupils a sense of achievement, as well as a new skill and they often love performing and practicing for friends and family at home.
